SISC to be featured at August Sustainable Agricultural Partnerships Conference

The Stewardship Index on Specialty Crops will be a featured initiative at the upcoming Sustainable Agricultural Partnerships Conference on August 10-11 in San Francisco. Sponsored by the American Business Conferences, the focus of the 2-day summit is "Creating Partnerships with Growers and Suppliers to Implement Practical Solutions on Sustainable Agriculture."

Tim York, CEO of Markon Cooperative and SISC Steering Committee member, and Bob Meeks, CEO of Wada Farms and SISC metrics pilot testing partner, will participate in the Keynote Panel A,  Harmonizing Standards For Defining Sustainability & Consumer Labeling on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m.

Barbara Meister, SureHarvest Marketing Communications Manager, will participate in Keynote Panel B, Understanding Consumer Priorities To Food Nutrition, Health Safety & Sustainability, also on Tuesday morning.
